NCDs can be caused by allergies, malnutrition, lifestyle changes, environmental changes, and other factors.
Both types of diseases can have a significant impact on individual and public health and can lead to high economic and social costs. In India, NCDs are the leading cause of death, accounting for around 60% of all deaths.
