Programme for Prevention and Control of Blindness

Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment is a program in that aims to reduce the prevalence of blindness and visual impairment: 

• Identifying and treating people who are blind at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
• Developing and strengthening strategies for eye health and preventing visual impairment
• Providing high-quality eye care services
• Expanding eye care services to underserved areas.
• Developing institutional capacity for eye care services
